Get a Beautifully Straight Smile with Invisalign®

Is your smile misaligned? Is your bite off? Are you tired of hiding your crooked teeth when you laugh or smile?

Invisalign might be the answer to your problems. It’s the best way to fix teeth alignment that doesn’t require brackets or wires. There’s no pointy metal stuck to your teeth with Invisalign.

Invisalign is the most popular, hassle-free way to get a beautifully straight smile.

The Benefits of Invisalign®

Aside from the obvious fact that you’ll come out of treatment with straight teeth, Invisalign offers a few other benefits and outshines standard braces in many ways

  • No Stuck Food
With Invisalign, you can smile with confidence after every meal. You won’t ever have to worry about getting food stuck or the inevitable staining around the brackets when you finally get your braces off because, with Invisalign, all you have to do is remove the aligners before eating and then replace them afterward.
  • Freedom & Convenience
If you’ve put off getting braces because you don’t want to ruin your sister’s wedding photos, you travel for work and wouldn’t have time to get them adjusted, or for any other reason, then Invisalign is the solution for you.

Since Invisalign aligners are removable, you never have to worry about the awkward situations that traditional braces may cause. No more excuses with Invisalign. They’re just that easy.

  • Comfort
You’ve probably heard the horror stories about how braces can rip up the insides of your lips or how the wires can break or shift out of place. While these stories are often exaggerated, braces can indeed be quite painful, especially after adjustments.

With Invisalign, on the other hand, discomfort is minimal. There is no metal and no moving parts, just a simple plastic tray molded to fit your teeth. Additionally, since the clear aligners are all encompassing, the even pressure they exert while moving your teeth is less noticeable than with traditional braces.

  • Your Oral Hygiene Won’t Suffer
If you’ve ever known anyone with braces, you may have noticed that their oral hygiene tends to decline while they’re being treated. Traditional braces require extra care and special tools to keep clean, and most people don’t have the patience to attend to them.

Invisalign, is a cinch to keep clean. All you need to do is take the Invisalign aligners off, clean them separately, and brush and floss your teeth normally.

Invisalign Clear Aligners

The biggest concern most people have about braces is the esthetic impact on their smile. Braces aren’t particularly appealing to look at and hard to hide, but with Invisalign, you won’t have to worry.

Invisalign is practically invisible. The thin, clear plastic aligners are much like contacts, you may see them when you’re right in someone’s face, but they’re virtually imperceptible during normal interactions.

Whether you don’t want to get traditional braces because you need to maintain a professional appearance, you don’t want to look like a teenager, or you simply don’t like how they look, period, Invisalign is your best option.

Your Invisalign Journey

If you’re considering Invisalign, then here is a brief walkthrough of the treatment process.
  • Stage 1
Your Invisalign journey begins when you book your consultation with us. We’ll perform a complete assessment to see if your needs and oral health are compatible with an Invisalign treatment plan.
  • Stage 2
Once you’re ready to get Invisalign, we’ll create a comprehensive treatment plan customized to your personal needs. We’ll start by taking photos and digital images of your teeth. This helps us determine how long you’ll need to wear Invisalign, what you can expect the results to look like, and the cost.

Typical treatment time for an adult is around 12 months, 18 for teenagers, but that will vary based on the complexity of your case.

  • Stage 3
This is the exciting stage, when you get your Invisalign clear aligners. We’ll set you up with your new aligners and teach you how to use them. This includes cleaning and wearing instructions and learning how to get them in and out.

Since you’ll wear your Invisalign aligners for about 22 hours a day, you’ll need to know how they work, how to care for them, and the proper way to take them out and replace them when you eat, brush your teeth, and anytime you need to remove them.

  • Stage 4
This stage is all up to you. For the best outcome, you’ll need to stick to your treatment plan and wear your Invisalign clear aligners every day as directed, changing them as often as Dr. Stryker recommends.
  • Stage 5
Now you’ve reached the best and final step. Now, you get to go out into the world with your new straight smile. You may get a temporary retainer to keep your teeth from shifting until they settle in, but this is where the process ends, and you can finally smile confidently for all the world to see.

The Benefits of a Straight Smile

Confidence and Beauty

Straight teeth are practically a requirement these days, and not having them can be a major hit to your self-confidence. Studies show that people with straight teeth are more confident in their smiles and more confident in themselves. Higher self-esteem and a more uniform smile can even lead to better job opportunities and better pay.

Lifelong Oral Health

Perhaps the most important benefit of Invisalign is that straight teeth lead to better oral health. Straight teeth are easier to clean, and they’re less likely to chip or decay. Your chances of getting gum disease also decrease with straight teeth. Plus, once you’ve put in the time and the investment to straighten your teeth, you’re more likely to take care of them.
