Specialized Care Options

Sedation Dentistry

Say goodbye to dental fear and anxiety. Sedation helps you relax as we perform your dental treatment. Options include oral sedation, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and IV sedation. During any appointment involving sedation, we monitor your blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen saturation.

LEARN ABOUT SEDATION DENTISTRY

Laser Dentistry

The state-of-the-art technology of the PulseMaster laser allows us to perform minimally invasive, highly precise dental procedures with little or no anesthesia.

Surgical Procedures

The laser acts as a precision cutting instrument during surgery.

Periodontal Treatment

When lasers are used during periodontal therapy, there is less bleeding, swelling, and discomfort when cleaning and removing diseased tissue. Scalpels and stitches are often completely unnecessary, resulting in quick and comfortable healing.

Tooth Decay

A laser can be used to remove decay within a tooth and prepare the surrounding enamel to receive the filling. Lasers are also used to cure or harden fillings.

Teeth Whitening

The laser acts as a heat source and enhances the effect of tooth bleaching agents.

Biopsy or Lesion Removal

A laser can be used to remove a small piece of tissue so that it can be examined for cancer. Lasers are also used to remove lesions in the mouth and relieve the pain of canker sores.

Gum Contouring

Teeth that appear small or short can be “lengthened” by recontouring the gum line using the laser. This procedure is used to create a perfect, harmonious gum line in relation to the lips and teeth.

BENEFITS OF LASER THERAPY

  • Faster healing
  • Reduced risk of infection
  • Decreased sensitivity
  • Less time in the dental chair
  • No dental drill needed
  • Minimize soft tissue bleeding and swelling
  • May preserve more healthy tooth during cavity removal
  • Less post-treatment discomfort

Gum Disease

A healthy mouth begins with healthy gums. If you have red, swollen, or tender gums, you may have periodontal disease. When left untreated, it will lead to inflammation, bleeding, and eventually recession.

Computerized Charting

Our computer software allows us to measure the depth of infected gum tissue and healthy areas. We can compare your readings from one appointment to the next and provide you with a printout so you can see how you’re doing and how you can help with better home care. This also allows us to tailor our treatment specifically for you.

Cavitron Ultrasonic Instrumentation

We use the most modern ultrasonic equipment available to remove plaque buildup quickly and comfortably.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Our highly skilled dental hygienists have been trained to thoroughly remove the bacteria-ridden plaque and tartar deposits that colonize the roots of your teeth. This is the key to eliminating periodontal disease.

Cavi-Jet

In addition to the traditional polishing or buffing that you are accustomed to, we also use an air polishing system (like a mini pressure washer) to remove stains from your teeth.
